Configuration and Installation instructions.

Wat does it do exactly ?

"Horizon Slim" Is a Joomla Module so you can put it in at any Module position. It will pull Information out of ordinary Joomla Articles inside a choosen Category to be displayed inside an horizontal acordion style Presentation Slider as seen above in this page.

The choosen Category does not need to be published - so if you do not want those Articles to be found via the site search they do not have to!

It will use all published Articles inside the chosen Category in the given Order descending.

This module needs php5 and GDlib installed to work proper. It generates nice Slide Handles with Truetype Font vertical Lables.

The Lables will be pulled from the Articles Titles.

You can add background Images for the Slides to make it look nice.

How does it work ?

negetics "Presentation Slider Slim" will pull data out of ordinary Joomla Articles inside a choosen Category. You might want to create an extra section and categories to store your "Presentation Slider" Articles.

How to get it up and running:

  1. Upload and install negetics "Presentation Slider Slim"
  2. Create a Section for your Presentation Slide Sets
  3. Create a Category for your first Set of Presentation Slides
  4. Add some Articles in that Category
  5. Add a negetics "Presentation Slider Slim" module in the desired module position. Choose the Category as source and set the parameters to your taste
  6. Watch it :)

The parameters should mostly be self explaining. However i will add some detailed Information on the Parameters in the next days.

I designed negetics "Presentation Slider to be easy customizable. So there are many settings to apply colors for Colors and Paddings so that it will be easy to customize it according to your Sites Look and feel."

The Module contains a promotion Link wich can be hidden via the module settings. If you do not want that Link you can eather remove it yourself by editing the view PHP file or you can purchase a commercial version of this module wich i will release soon for a very reasonable price. This Version will allthough have many more features like support for customized Handle Images, a templating system for the Article display inside the Slides and many effects you might know from my "Horizon Slim" module.
